I am Yixi (Xander) Zhou, a Ph.D. student in computer science at Hong Kong Baptist University, advised by Prof. Renchi Yang in the LAGAS Group. I received my B.S. from ShanghaiTech University and was an exchange student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
My research focuses on data agents and reliable LLM-based systems for complex, real-world data. I am interested in retrieval, structured reasoning, and trustworthy evaluation for data management and analytics.
I also work on financial AI with collaborators at MBZUAI and The University of Tokyo. My recent work spans financial document QA, Text-to-SQL evaluation, and adaptive data discovery.
